I am a first time volunteer Puppy Raiser for Canine Companions for Independence (CCI). This wonderful organization has been providing Service Dogs, Facility Dogs, Hearing Dogs and Skilled Companions to people in need since 1975. My job for the next 18 months is to socialize, train and prepare the puppy (Helper II) in my care to successfully enter advance training in Oceanside California. I have started this blog to document our journey together.

So Sad......
Helper looks sad. I wonder why? She is laying on a towel today because she has just destroyed her second bed from Cost Co!!!!! She is so smart that she unzips the bed cover and shreds the inside foam cushion when I am not watching. I am thankful that she has not eaten the foam...she is very smart!

ummmmm... confession time? Oribel never has any bedding inside her crate because she chews it up and she DOES eat it. She is fine on a dog bed outside the crate... maybe just can't figure out what else to do in the crate...
